Hello. Love your tile choices!! I have this TCMKN8812A sample in my hand and it does not look blue to me, but I see the reviewer indicates it does. We don’t want blue in our kitchen. Is there any way to insure that the glass section doesn’t show up blue? Maybe paint behind it? Any ideas? Thanks much!
Thank you for your question! The glass itself does have a light blue tint to it that may be visible depending on the lighting. It is subtle but designed to reflect some blue. The sample you received is a piece of the exact tile we have ready to ship - that way you can see how the glass looks reflecting the ambient light where you will install the full sheets of tile.
You could use a darker mortar behind the tile to reduce the blue light that is reflected - we would recommend testing how it looks on the sample to see if you like the effect before installing in your kitchen.
We also offer the same pattern in several different materials if you want one without any blue - ST-14DM, GLMS-10AL, and STVC-13. That is the best way to guarantee you don't see blue glimpses from the glass.
