Yes, engineered hardwood floors can be installed over ceramic tile, but it’s generally not recommended. For the best results, I always recommend removing the tile entirely. While some homeowners hesitate due to the cost, with the right tools, removal can often be more efficient than the extra preparation required to install over existing tile.
