This is a glazed ceramic tile and doesn't require sealing as the glaze creates a barrier over the porous clay. We recommend a high perfomance grout, or you may want to apply a penetrating sealant to your grout lines to help reduce water absorption and possibility of grout stains over time.
Safe for Fireplace?
Yes, you can use our gold picket ceramic tiles on a fireplace surround! They should be installed on the outer facing of the fireplace where the heat does not exceed 150 degrees Farenheit.
