Is the gold on black tile metallic or shiny? Or just yellow? Hard to tell from the photos. Thanks!
This is more of a painted look than a shiny/metallic look. The video shows it at an angle so hopefully that will provide a better idea of the matte finish of the tile. If you would like to order a sample, please add to the Order Notes in your Shopping Cart (before checking out) that you would like a piece with the black and gold details. The samples are cut from full size pieces of tile so they won't show the entire design but you can definitely preview the color, finish, and material in person before ordering boxes.
Are the samples an actual tile?
The samples are cut pieces from the actual tile - they are approximately 4" x 5" so you can preview the material, color, and finish in person, but they are not a full 10" x 60" tile. You can see more of the tile details in this product video.
