Porcelain tiles generally do not need to be sealed because they are non-porous and highly resistant to moisture and stains. However, if the tiles are polished or unglazed, or if they have a textured surface, they may benefit from sealing to enhance stain resistance and make cleaning easier. Additionally, the grout used between the tiles is porous and should be sealed to prevent staining and moisture absorption.
